While most leaders are investing in AI talent and building robust information infrastructure, other companies lack the analytics expertise and ability to easily access their data. Our research reveals some misconceptions about the resources needed to train AI. Not only do leaders have a deeper understanding of AI needs than laggards, they are also more likely to have senior leadership support and develop a business case for their AI initiatives. The research and analysis for this report was conducted under the direction of the authors as part of , in collaboration with and sponsored by the Boston Consulting Group.
